That was a parody of the 2006 film The Sinking of Japan, which is based on the novel Japan Sinks.

Japan Sinks was adapted into;
this 1973 film The Submersion of Japan, which was later recut as Tidal Wave in the US.
a 1974 television series
the 2006 film The Sinking of Japan, which was parodied by The World Sinks Except Japan the same year.
a 2020 anime on Netflix
a 2021 television series

The relesed set DOES NOT include any English dubbed version! Nor any English subtitles for either of the two cuts (143 minute or 114-minute) This is patently false advertising and a huge, huge disappointment. Especially so, since there is absolutely an English-dubbed version of the 114-minute "cut" version. Of course, the 4k version is also not English-friendly. No dub is included.

Why the company found it necessary to LIE to its paying customers remains a mystery. It would be appreciated if they could give a reason for their curious admission. We've been waiting over 50 years to see non-butchered English TIDAL WAVE travesty version of THE SUBMERSION OF JAPAN.

Shame on them!

Seems like some mistranslation? The detailed for export version listed on amazon page says the export version comes with Japanese audio and English on-screen texts. (音声は日本語で、タイトルなどが英語表記。) I don't see they mention English dub in the description.

Then it fits the description of the original product details on amazon Japan, they listed the export version with Japanese audio only and English on-screen texts. There's no mention of actual English audio or subtitles.
