Too bad they couldn't release Maboroshi, as the Criterion version is good enough for me.

Already got the Criterion version as well.

Wish more Kore-eda Blu-rays would come out as well.

Maybe those films are cursed. Arrow Video is releasing a Kore-eda set, but it's just newer films. No Maboroshi, Distance, Nobody Knows, etc. I just don't know why no one wants to release these.

In the US, Milestone Films was doing a restoration and Blu-ray release of Maboroshi... 2 years ago. No news since.

Like Father Like Son had a UK release years ago and is having another release in a couple months
