Cheapskate region B blu-ray players

Is it worth the trouble to hunt down a scratched/scuffed thrift store quality region B player? I was thinking it might be useful for anime or something. Like somewhat notoriously Gurren Lagann.

Random region A players can be found around $20 USD or less, but that doesn't mean it's similar for region B in its countries.
Frankly no idea what region C exclusives exist to really justify region free.

Well yeah, don't want to get stuck with a buggy or broken player.

lum if you are serious, have a look at 220 electronics, they are well thought of.
Decide on one you would like, then decide finance or save
If you have been at your existing job at least 2 years, finance should be easy

If you save there should be december sales to trim the price

Probably easier to pick up a new Seiki SR4KP1 Region player of $50-60 (ABC WAREHOUSE right now) or hit Ebay and see if you can find one for $30

I wouldn't buy a used blu-ray player because they're dirt cheap, and besides you'll get a warranty when you buy a brand new one.
