Hi all -
I recently moved to a new house and am trying to get my home theater set up. I'm having difficulty getting my older Pioneer Elite SC-05 to receive DTS-HD from my Panasonic DMP-BDT500 Blu-ray player. Furthermore, the receiver does not show the SBL and SBR speaker channels lit up on the display for my 7.1 setup with any surround mode I use, even though I hear surround audio coming from all speakers. I'm running dual HDMI out from the player with audio running to the Pioneer and video to the TV (for 3D, since the receiver does not support pass-through). I am setting the player to Bitstream to allow the AVR to do the decoding, and I have the Secondary Audio in the player set to Off so it should not downmix the DTS-HD to normal DTS. I've played a number of 7.1 DTS-HD discs in the setup and cannot determine where I'm going wrong. Does anyone have any idea why I'm not getting DTS-HD? Any help is appreciated. |
