Default Austin Powers Trilogy

Can anyone who owns or has seen the domestic Aussie releases of the Austin Powers films fill me in about how Intentional Man of Mystery looks in terms of PQ? Does it look closer to the poor looking UK release? or the better looking US release? Also is it the extended cut?

and why is it that Goldmember seems to look so much softer than The Spy Who Shagged Me? Was Goldmember DNR'd?

Goldmember and the original The Spy Who Shagged Me local release from Roadshow have the same specs as the UK discs from what I remember (perhaps someone could do a BDinfo scan just to make sure). I would assume that the rerelease of The Spy Who Shagged Me from WB is the same as the U.S disc. The local release of International Man of Mystery is the U.S cut. I have the local and U.S discs, when I compared them the encode appeared to be the same, however the local disc has a couple of additional extras: BBC' music video, featurette with interviews, and TV spots.

The encode of the U.S release of International Man of Mystery looks a lot better than the UK release in terms of the transfer, so I'm glad the local Aussie release reflects the superior picture quality version. With that said: do you know which scenes have been omitted/edited on the U.S BD/Aussie BD when compared to the longer cut found on the UK BD?

Thanks in advance, Cev.

Don’t think there’s been an HD release of the extended International Man of Mystery outside of Germany and the UK (the latter being reportedly terrible). I wasn’t even aware of the shorter theatrical cut until I bought the US trilogy set.

The Spanish BD is the longer cut, I have it and the picture quality is ok, so probably the same transfer as the others
