i thought this was hilarious.... the silly comedy movie i have seen since Amazon women on the moon. That the closest comparison.

haters always want to hate... it didnt even rely of pop culture references! (OMG they had to write jokes) plus all the different directors meant a huge variety.

Way better than this awful parody crap they have churned out since Scary movie debuted

I thought that this was actually ok, I cant think of any comedies that are consistently funny but this one had its moments.
Am curious about the different links to each part.
In the UK we had a story linking them with some kids trying to hack a computer yet in the US they had a screenwriter with writers block played by Dennis Quaid.
In fairness would rather have either The Kentucky Fried Movie or Amazon Women On The Moon on Blu Ray first.

Not that IMDB is a great source for ratings or anything, but it went from a 7.something to a 4.5 in a week or so of its release.

When this was released, I watched all types of ratings plummet on this movie. It was quite astounding. This seemed to be the worst movie ever made. I never wanted to see it, but my wife thinks the trailer looked funny. I tried to explain the atrocious reviews, but she doesn't really listen to reviews. This will probably be that movie that people rent just see if it is "that bad". I'm sure we will rent it, but unless something drastically changes, then this will not be gracing my shelves.

Plus the actors admitted they were basically begged to do it and did because it required very little actual work. That's a sign of quality.

Actually Gere was asked by a friend producer to show up for 2 or 3 hours and say some lines. lol

I was never gonna see it at the cinema, with tickets being the price they are... but I'm definitely renting this! Whenever a film gets this much bad press, I have to have a gorpe at it... like an accident on a motorway...

and the Amazon Women on the Moon comparisons don't help, either ; that film is one of my nostalgia flicks (partly because it had boobs in it).
