No such thing. All three films are in 2.35:1 as that is their OAR.

You get blacks bars on the top and bottom, which is normal for this ratio.

And why not? If that is what it takes to enjoy watching something, so be it. Better that than missing out on a ton of good movies.

When I used to only have a "square" 29" CRT, I would zoom in partially on 2.35:1 titles. The black bars were still present, but not as wide. I was very well aware that I was losing pictures from the sides and compromised the PQ, but I was ok with those losses. Of course ever since I bought a widescreen TV, those zooming days are over.
