I thought I'd start a thread on movies that use highly-stylized and lurid color schemes, primarily through use of color gels for lighting but it could also be due to colorful set-design and natural elements in the background. I've become fascinated with these type of movies that consist of multiple genres. I hope we can come up with a great list of them that many of us may not have heard or seen before. Here is mine:
