Happy with the art. I own the standard Blu, and especially with the Criterion set coming out, I suppose I don't need another copy. But it's Godzilla. I collect this stuff.

The Criterion set will include both the American and Japanese release versions.

Does anyone know if this FYE release contains the Japanese version of KKvG? The Japanese logo on the cover makes me think it might.

Since the main reason I'm thinking about buying the Criterion Showa collection is to finally own a (legal) copy of the Japanese cut, I'll buy this instead and wait on the Criterion set IF the FYE release has the Japanese version.

It's the same disc they've released before, Universal rarely does anything new and definitely wouln't make a whole new disc just for an exclusive Steelbook.

I got this silly thing in the mail today. The disc was loose, but that happens sometimes when Blu-rays are shipped. What's silly is that this is a 2-disc steelbook when there is only 1 disc! Yep, there are 2 disc slots in this for some reason!
