New Line is under Warner so they are BLU exclusive now.

I wouldn't say they're under Warner Brothers, but the decision was made by Time Warner... which BOTH studios are under. So, yes, they're Blu-exclusive also.

Yeah, but my question is, will New Line also follow the neutrality stance as WB stated, or will they completely announce BD exclusivity?

So far New Line Cinema has already been exclusive to Blu-ray since they haven't even released anything on HD DVD, yet. I don't see them releasing anything for HD DVD at all at this point.

BTW, WB didn't state neutrality. They committed exlusively to Blu-ray.

Well, New Line doesn't have any previously announced HD DVD titles on the horizon, and with all the region coding crap I'm sure that we will never see another HD DVD come out from New Line. Pan's Labyrinth will be the lone HD DVD out there.

They are owned by WB, thus exclusive to Blu.

I understand they announced BD exclusive, but not until May 2008. Therefore, they are still somewhat neutral since they are still releasing on HD-DVD until that time.

My guess is WB will release just the titles that they have announced and nothing more. Which is fair enough.

I think Shoot 'Em Up was a sign of things to come. It was only released on Blu, which makes me think New Line either knew this was going to happen and chose to not even bother or they just never had interest in really putting their efforts into HD-DVD.

although New Line isn't apart of Warner Home Video, it is owned by Time Warner like Warner Bros. so New Line will most likely go blu exclusive soon, if not already since as already indicated, they only have one hd dvd title anyway.

Point is, NLC pretty much follows in the footsteps of its big brother WB. With that said, expect them to be exclusive to Blu-ray as well perhaps even sooner than May 2008.
