JB have listed this on their website, including a 3D version, and an exclusive steelbook.

Yeah I'll be sticking with my Zavvi steelbook pre-order, the 3D is included with said steelbook while as usual, the Aussie version excludes it.

At least the 2D version is two discs, we'll get a bonus disc with extras!

I noticed last night that the release date on Ezydvd's site says the 28th of April, though this may not be final. Sanity has the 2D version listed for $31.99 and the 3D version for $36.99 at the moment, which is cheaper than Ezydvd's and JB's current prices.

There is also a JB exclusive Amaray version that they have just put up (it wasn't listed on their site when I posted the other artwork above a little earlier):

That last version says it has to be pre ordered before March the 12th to get the exclusive alternate art work and bonus dvd. The US version of that art work looks like a slip with a fold out

Very glad the 3d is releasing same day as the 2d release unlike TFA. Didn't really enjoy this in cinemas but will likely give it another chance.

Very ugly cover art I must say.

This info wasn't listed when I saw it, only the artwork with a JB exclusive banner, so it must have still been in the transition from the standard Amaray version to the exclusive Amaray version.

I may though offer that the steel interests me, as the composition of the Death Star reminds me of the pilot episode of Blakes seven, which had a dome structure for habitation on Earth. I may treat myself to that one for sparking a memory ..

I refuse to buy any version because the artwork I just dislike and I only buy films with artwork that is pleasing to my eye regardless of if I like the film or not lol

I have yet to actually see this - I've pre-ordered the 3D steelbook from Zavvi - hope it's better than TFA.

Guess now we'll need to keep an eye on the audio specs, since Disney just pulled a swifty with Doctor Strange so they might start do the same thing with other titles...

I really dig the artwork on these. Pick of the crop, it's going to be a blind buy for me.
