Default Netflix buffering when changing resolutions??

Lately, Netflix has been having a weird issue on my Roku 2 device. When you start a video, it starts out at 480 resolution, then several seconds later, increases to 720 and then 1080. This used to transition smoothly. But over the past couple of weeks, when the resolution switches from 720 to 1080, the video stops for a second or two to buffer. It's weird that this just suddenly happened and doesn't seem to correct itself with time as this has been happening for the past couple of weeks already. After that brief buffer during the change in resolution, the video plays fine after that. But it's just so annoying that it keeps happening every time I start playing a video and it's driving me off the wall.

Anyone else having this issue?

As some of you can recall from my other posts, it seems as though I am having quite a number of issues with the Roku. It seems to me that the Roku is a very glitchy device, which is shocking to discover since this type of streaming device comes highly recommended by many. Either that or I have defective device. But this Roku is already pushing me over the edge and I'm getting sick of it already.
