Been saying it since 2004 when then it was a preformat war against D-VHS. I'll admit I was HD DVD when it was called AOD. But that was before the BDA decided to accept the new codecs and upped the space. The technology was always superior from that point on, it just took a bit longer for the fruit to mature.
