Default MA category for our Movies Anywhere collection?

Will Blu-ray.com be adding a new "MA" category for us to track our Movies Anywhere collections? A real bonus would be for our new MA collections to be automatically created and populated using the titles from our current iTunes and UV collections that are also MA-eligible (hoping that would be easy, since it's based on studio). Am I hoping for too much?

I would guess not. Right now all 3 available digital formats can be marked as Movies Anywhere. So you can track them in whichever one you choose. Maybe one day they will all be merged into a Digital Collection. Then choose which store you want to use and when iTunes doesn't have a movie, you can use the UV or AIV entry.

I guess that makes sense; in fact I already have a "DMA" category within my UV collection. I guess I can just rename that to "MA", and then add all the new non-Disney MA titles (although that will probably take a while given the size of my collection).

And I guess I could have posed the same question for Vudu and a separate Vudu category, as all my non-UV Vudu titles are currently inventoried in my "UV" collection. I don't see any reason Vudu shouldn't have their own category any more than Amazon shouldn't.

In the meantime, while I know a title can't be in more than one category within a collection (e.g., UV, iTunes, AIV), I wish there were a "tags" feature, so we could at least create (and search/sort by) custom tags. Then I could create "Vudu" and "MA" tags within my UV collection.

I was about to suggest that they merge or rename the UV category to Digital Copy, or Digital Movie. A lot of movies in the UV section aren't available with UV. Many of them had DMA and now MA. Many of them don't have a digital copy at all, but they are available on Vudu and other providers. It is time to merge iTunes, AIV and UV into one format, and then have markers for MA or UV. Also need to rename the UV codes for sale section.

We are thinking about how to solve this the best way, we might add a "Movies Anywhere" category or create some sort of merged "Digital Movies" category.
