I'm sure WB will give a press statement for this in the near future

Can't wait for more info, sounds like a fairly worthy upgrade from the standard DVD.

Surprised to see these two being released. I expect it means the three available so far have done well in sales.

Love this movie but I'm not sold on any benefit of DC animated movies in UHD vs the blu-ray edition. Once there's a measurable upgrade I'll jump in. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm waiting for a superhero animated movie to take advantage of ATMOS/DTS:X

DC has released several movies in the 4K format, now they just need to take it up a notch with the audio.

when they release a 4K with ATMOS/DTS:X i'll buy it in that format. until then, i'll just stick to HD blu!

This movie was a lot of fun. The live action suicide squad should have had the joker as the main antagonist just like this, instead of the mess that it ended up becoming.

Looked really good on blu. But if it there's only the same amount of improvement as the previous 4K DC animations, I'll pass.

There is no notica left difference that I could see for DC animation in 4K. I just watched Suicide Squad Hell To Pay in 4K and it looked the same as all of the other DC animated movies on blu ray.

Because there is literally NOTHING lost or unresolved when it comes to their 2D digital animation. There are no hidden textures, pockmarks on faces, strands of hair we miss out on because they create everything to be visible and clear at the most current visual standard.

There has to be details lost in HD transfers for UHD format to even be worth considering.

Its such a trendy cash grab for the DCAU films to come out in UHD. Aside from people just wanting their shelf to be uniform in appearance, its a real waste of money.

I love this movie but I don’t think I’ll pay $30 for a 4K release. I’ll probably wait for a price drop.

Same here. Needs to get under $20. Then I'll get it.

I completely agree. The only reason I purchase SS in 4K is because they had a sale and it was the same price as the Blu-ray.

Were I not so keen on getting the steelbooks, I would pick them up on 4k if they had them at the same price as well, because why not? But ever since Target started doing the steels, I've been grabbing them when I could, even if the art is the exact same as the standard.

That and if they ever re release Red Hood in 4k I will pick it up just because I love that story to death.

Well I watched Gotham By Gaslight on UHD then popped in the Blu to see how it compared, and it was noticeably worse.

Like I don't know how to explain that, maybe it's TV settings, or the HDR processing or something, but it definitely didn't look the same.

I loved this film. I too, wish they used this storyline for the live-action Suicide Squad. What a mistake that was.

Hopefully a nice uptick in 4K but like others have said, I haven't seen a significant improvement compared to blu-ray for DC Animated films.
