Default I think it's safe to say that Weistein is coming too

A smaller studio like that can't stick with a losing and dying format. Bring me my Kill Bill WBA, Lucky Number Slevin, Elite Troop, Grindhouse, thank you.

They predicted the future, and also remember that Weistein movies are only available to rent at Blockbuster and Blockbuster went Blu exclusive some time ago, so they might have just stopped releasing until Blu got a REAL strong lead, like now.

Larger businesses can afford to absorb some losses in an attempt to grow a profitable product line in the marketplace, smaller ones cannot. How many HD titles do you think are really making back even the fixed costs of producing them? Not many I'd wager. As top sellers move from the 100k towards the 1M mark in early sales we'll see smaller companies and releases of more limited interest come along for the ride.

The Weinstein never had much to offer in the first place. The best product they produced was under the Miramax banner and is distributed by Buena Vista (The Walt Disney Company). "Lucky Number Slevin" is already available as an excellent Blu-ray import and the only other title I would spring for is "Derailed."

Lets go through this ONE MORE TIME... That box was PRINTED by Transworld Ent. The SKU # for the PRE-ORDER was for the ORIGINAL HALLOWEEN that was released by Starz/Anchor Bay. Some retard messed up and assumed it was the same Halloween. Bottom line. The promo was never made by the movie company, just a retail store trying to get pre-orders.

Indeed, I preordered this and they tried to hand me a copy of the original version (which I already own), and they were claiming that I preordered the original. I had to ask them why I would have preordered a movie that was already out...

Visions of the future, HD DVD’s CES press event has been canceled, and now Weinstein and Universal will appear at BDA’s press event to announce their support for Blu-ray…
