Splendid Film will release a restored version of RS (KC) on 27/10/2017.
There will be MBs from Nameless as well.

DNR and sharpening. I'd buy the old Splendid over the remastered one if I didn't already own the Arrow one.

The comparison caps linked above is proof enough but take a gander at image #8 where debris from the explosion has been erased out of the image. All caps of the remastered disc looked filtered and edges stand out way too much.
