DNR and sharpening. I'd buy the old Splendid over the remastered one if I didn't already own the Arrow one.

Proof? The old Spendid seems to have some kind of gamma shift and washed-out colors.

The comparison caps linked above is proof enough but take a gander at image #8 where debris from the explosion has been erased out of the image. All caps of the remastered disc looked filtered and edges stand out way too much.
