I'm pretty sick of possession movies and this doesn't look great. But I'll see it anyway since it's a horror movie. Not sure if I'll catch it in theaters or not though.

This was originally titled Cadaver. This new title is way too generic.
I'm more interested in seeing how this looks on screen. This was shot on the Sony A7S II with Hawk 65mm anamorphics.

Yeah, this sounds like a straight to DVD movie.

Did they think moviegoers would have trouble saying the word "Cadaver" at the box office when getting tickets?

Anyways, interesting 2/4 PLL girls get lead theatrical horror roles this year. Ashley Benson and Troian Bellisario, where you at?

I think the same for me. Not because of Shay as an actress, but the way the show handled Emily's character. They literally couldn't introduce any new female character without her becoming a love interest for Emily.

Not this year, but Troian was a co-lead in the Martyrs remake that everyone ignored.

Just saw the trailer. It's a cool idea and setting, but many of the "scare antics" look stupid.

It looks like there will never be another good possession/exorcism movie. THE POSSESSION OF JOEL DELANEY (1972) and THE EXORCIST (1973) and that's it, apparently. Tarantino once said that he was working on a script for a demonic possession movie that would be the best one since the original EXORCIST, but that obviously never went into production. He has several scripts that were never filmed (including one about a serial killer, which he said was far too mean-spirited); he should sell those to other filmmakers.

In the meantime, if this is the sort of thing that interests you and you haven't seen THE POSSESSION OF JOEL DELANEY, I highly recommend it. It's a horror masterpiece.

Looks more like Nightwatch with more horror elements added. I'll wind up checking it out when it drops via A-List. It could be something...fingers crossed.

Pretty Little Liars, the popular show that aired on ABC Family/Freeform. Shay Mitchell, the lead in this, played Emily on the show.

Like MikeScott said, I'm also pretty tired of possession movies. But it's got Shay in it, so I'll see it (one way or another). And it does look like it has a few decent scares in it, cheap or not.

Plus, Stana Katic is in it, so that's a plus.
