Wow, this year has been crazy with titles I was starting to give up on. Maybe there is hope for Tuff Turf after all!

I would be all over "Tuff Turf" if it hit Blu-ray. Early Spader and Downey, Jr., prime Kim Richards

and a great soundtrack with the added bonus of The Jim Carroll Band performing in the film. Pure '80s awesomeness!

Nice! Always dug Band of the Hand. Haven't seen it in years. I didn't buy that full screen DVD back in the day. Looking forward to getting this.

That reversible art sheds a lot of light on this release. Looks like Mill Creek is testing the boutique label waters.

Big year for Michael Mann fans between this, Scream Factory Manhunter, Miami Vice, Ali and the Heat remaster.

Just finished watching Band of the Hand on the regular DVD - for the very first time. Great action drama! I'm surprised I missed it over all these years - it sounds like it was definitely a cult classic. This is definitely the type of film that I could see playing on Saturday afternoon cable in the '80's & '90's.

Liked the storyline & the obvious connection to MV - the locale, gang element(s), & actors - a lot of these guys were in MV, notably Martin Ferrero - who played MV's resident schemer Izzy Moreno - LOL. I was especially amused with Ferrero's role in BOTH - he played a store clerk who gave detailed instructions to several other characters on how to get rid of those pesky armadillos - LOL.

I liked the "message" about working together & putting aside differences with each other for the greater good - the way this was presented, it was not at all preachy.

It was interesting to see Lauren Holly in a drama - the only other movie I remember seeing her in was the Jim Carrey comedy Dumb & Dumber (1994).

It will be nice to see this in Blu, in the correct Anamorphic Widescreen format; my Blu ray player converts the full-screen format to WS; so this showed up WS on my widescreen set - however, I know I'm missing much of the picture here. The PQ on the DVD wasn't horrible (and I've seen worse), but it will be nice to see that remastered as well.

Just pre ordered my copy. I remember seeing in the theaters. If my memory serves me right, it was summer of 86.

Then all we gotta ask Arrow Video (who has a distribution deal with the Lakeshore Entertainment catalog) if they are thinking about that title and that they need to hear our calls!

Seriously? It's under $7. It's not going to be great - it's Mill Creek. It won't have subtitles and PQ will most likely be average. But it's so cheap, it will be better than a DVD.
