Blu-ray Knight

Let me know if this is the wrong sub category for this issue.
Player: LG UP870 / UBK80 from 220 Electronics (Region Free 4K) TV: VIZIO P659-G1. The HDMI is connected directly to HDMI, no splitters or switches used. The HDMI is ultra high speed purchased form Amazon. I have had this recurring issue where I'll turn on the blu-ray player, and the image looks like this ![]() I can get it to go away but turning off and turning it back on, but sometimes this takes 1 or 2 times, sometimes 10+ times. I know its not the TV or the input itself, because I have changed inputs and it ONLY happens with the 4K player, no other input has ever had this specific issue. I just wanted to know if there is some setting I'm missing, or is this probably just an issue with it being a region free player? It's obviously not an end of the world problem, but it's annoying to waste 10 minutes sometimes flipping the player off then on then off, etc. |
