Default Shooter - and other Paramount titles -

How much of a commodity are these now that WB has joined us exclusively?
I have access to a couple of sealed copies of SHOOTER - was consideringgetting them, but wonder how long it might be before they are pretty common.

I dunno I was thinking of buying shooter for $50 but didn't assuming those titles would be out eventually when paramount went at least neutral if not blu all the way.

With the WB news that paramount 'exclusive' deal could happen a LOT sooner than I thought. they would be insane to at least not go neutral sooner than later.

I guess it depends on how much you like the movie. I love it, but can wait to get it on blu and at half the price of what you can get it for now =]

I was going to pay $40 for shooter but not anymore since this format war is quickly being decided.

I agree with both of you. It isn't as if I have to have this title right away - I can wait. Doesn't seem like we will have all that long of a wait anyway.

Definitely sell it now, while Paramount's fate is still up in the air. Plus, I didn't think it was that great of a BD anyway (okay movie, okay transfer, sparse on features).

Well I just recently got Shooter from Blockbuster in the mail and was considering "loosing it". Wondering if that is still a good idea.

I don't know about you, but I prefer my media to have cases (and to be in pristine condition).

they are under contract, As long as discs continue to sell I dont foresee Paramount breaking that contract.

Looking for a great action flick? Check out The Rock on 8/08.
Directed by our most outspoken director, Michael Bay.
It stars Nicholas Cage, Sean Connerey, and Ed Harris.
Co-produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, and Don Simpson.
It's Mr. Bay's best by far, IMO.

By "loosing", you mean "stealing"? You're wondering if that's a good idea?
