Default Spherex 5.1 and PS3 problem

I've been using this sound system with PS3 for some time now, never a problem. I was watching a movie and accidentally pressed the Pro Logic II button on the remote, and I cant get it back to Dolby Digital. I tried turning it off, unplugging it, and going to the sound settings menu on the PS3 numerous time, to no avail. I'm stuck with regular 5.1, 2.0, or Pro Logic II. When I hit optical 2 and put the PS3 on, it automatically goes to Dolby Digital, but not anymore.

I unplugged the optical cable, still nothing. I tried my 360 (which is hooked up to optical also) and it worked perfectly.

This sound system has been discontinued, so it's very hard to get help anywhere else. I really don't know what to do.

well, just by looking at the remote (very hard to read)...

does hitting the "surround", "effect" or "prologic button" not reset it back to normal?

No. Effect is bass and treble, hitting Pro Logic doesn't do anything. I'm so stumped.

I just reset the PS3, and the sound went to DD and then switched over to PLII when the disc loaded up. This is really frustrating.

Thanks, that seemed to work, but it always used to work when I had it set to Linear PCM. What the hell happened?
