If November seems far away, the good news is that the standard Season 6 collection will be hitting stores two months earlier. Both the Blu-ray and DVD versions will include audio commentaries, deleted scenes, "making of" featurettes and other bonus features, but the Blu-ray version will also include an exclusive alternate scene featuring Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Negan.

I wish they would release them in digipacks without the figure. I own all of them so far and the only one I liked was the first limited edition, the zombie screwdriver one. I only continue buying them because I love the way the digipacks look but I think the figure/statues have been pretty disappointing since the first one.

Is this one going to be exclusive to Amazon?

I'm glad they're not doing this for Fear The Walking Dead

I'll still get it, despite being one of the weakest seasons (right above S4). I have the other LE's up to S4, still need to get S5. But yeah, I think I care more about the digipacks than the statues at this point. We haven't had something cool and imaginative since S3 with the Governor's zombie head tank. I would seriously welcome a gratuitous zombie setpiece on the show purely for a chance at a sweet LE when the BD comes out. At least the digipack here shits all over the standard edition cover.

I'm just going for the standard release.
The digipaks are great, but not worth the delay by 3 months and the figures which get worse and more expensive.

I'll just have to get over having an inconsistent collection.

Best Buy only holds funds if you pay with PayPal.
I always order from Best Buy and they charge once your pre order ships.

I'm not sure about Zavvi

I want this set but I think I'm just going to wait for the Amazon one to go on sale.

Zavvi takes your money when they ship the item. Pre-ordered mine at Zavvi.
