Hey gang, sorry if this is posted elsewhere...
I just bought Raiders of The Lost Ark today at Best Buy, the single film on blu and it comes with a digital code ONLY redeemable via itunes...really? I don't use Apple-anything, so am I out of luck with having this digital? I shot them an email on their site, but don't feel confident at all in that route. Also, in my library is the X-Men Trilogy boxed set, which is even more antiquated with having disc digital copies...Again, am I out of luck with getting this stuff somehow on my Vudu or Google Play list of films? |

The Indiana Jones movies have long been iTunes only, and so only available from iTunes (unless you bought a non-UV version directly in Vudu)
The X-Men movies are, on the other hand, UV, and can be redeemed in Vudu. Though yeah, you need newer codes to redeem those in Vudu. |

Though not an ideal solution, I believe the X-Men movies are eligible for Disc-to-Digital at $2 a pop. Pretty sure that's not the case with the Indy movies, though.
I don't use iTunes, either, but I do wonder if you have one of those old on-disc DC codes and can still redeem it, if it would port over to Movies Anywhere. Still wouldn't help with the Indy movies, since they're Paramount, but it might be worth signing up for iTunes just to see if it works for the X-men movies. |
