The date on the Canadian site is a placeholder of December 31, 2018

It wouldn't come out on video in a month

I'd be pretty surprised if this is actually 3-D... the packaging just says Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital combo, and the Best Buy US listing for this steelbook seems to have no 3-D.

Pre-ordered regardless, just in case. The regular version is already sold out, but the bilingual version is still available for pre-order. If it turns out this isn't 3-D or there's a regular 3-D release that's cheaper I'll just cancel this and pick that up instead.

The J card looks to be the exact same style they used with Moana where they had the 2D steelbook and the 3D steelbook with the blue border vs the tan/yellowish border.
I just got back from seeing this in 3D and it's the typical Pixar 3D but the movie went beyond all my expectations. By far one of their best Pixar movies to date.

I hope the same bs that happened with guardians 2 doesn’t happen here. I just want a local 3D version with digital, I don’t want to have to buy a UK version.

Hopefully the links will ressurect sooner rather than later.

I don't think North America will be seeing a 3D release.....just like with Cars 3. Looks like Disney is abandoning 3D altogether in North America but the rest of the world gets it. No word on Thor Ragnarock 3D so far either.

I saw the French version and I'd probably go with that over the Zavvi one when it eventually goes up. I'd rather deal with Amazon from any country than Zavvi in case it comes damaged

That's temporary artwork, and will probably have the same WWA. I'll wait for a premium release, unless the WWA changes.

Oh I know, my reason for going amazon.fr over zavvi is Amazon CS is better to deal with. My expensive venture into the premium game has dwindled, I'll get something that I really like every now and then like the special box for Logan by Manta but not for a Disney movie, too much to spend to have a complete set

I see how saying "French version" could give off the impression that I thought it would be different
