Default Bad PS3?

Anyone else? I guess had to wear out the PS3? I have a PS3 that will play games fine but when I go to watch a movie, I get a slideshow with no sound at all. Just happened, I tried everything. Took the PS3 straight to the TV and still get the slideshow and no sound, tried 2 different HDMI cords as well. I folded about 250 units total, I'm thinking that might have killed it. I'm thinking I wore out the BD drive. It's less then a year though so they better fix it. We don't need a rrod of the PS3 scandal.

well, it doesnt sound like the optical drive is going bad since games will play.

Maybe try giving your system a reset?

I've folded over 500 units and mine has been running 24/7 since November 17, 2006. No problems here.

Like you said though, your system is less than a year old. Get on the warranty repair RIGHT AWAY!
