This really needs English subs for the Italian track. I believe it's already out in Japan with similar specs. I'm still hoping Arrow puts this out with English subs.

I own the Japanese BD but it's a horrible SD upscale.

The Great Silence was recently rematsered in 4k so this Blu could be a dream come true.

There are some screen captures over on caps-a-holic:

THE GREAT SILENCE (1968)

and they confirm that there is no english dub nor subtitles. PQ looks better than the UK dvd, but detail could be better (I know it all comes down to the source, but at least this looks like an HD upgrade).
