Interesting. Will this be a BD-R or pressed?

Oh hell yes bring it on. Hope it's true. Released on my birthday too lol.

Nice to see that Paramount has started digging into their catalogue again and remastering/licensing their titles to boutique labels.

And so it begins. I hope Paramount also gives some attention to films that have yet to make an appearance on Blu-ray (like the countless non-anamorphic DVDs that are still littering the land)

Always thought Fatal attraction and Jacobs ladder would make great Criterion releases

If this isn't a BD-R then this is great news. Hopefully more catalogue titles are coming from Paramount. However is now head of their video department is doing a a great job so far.

C'mon, Paramount. Give me a remastered Untouchables. You can do it. I believe in you.

And if they don’t plan on doing it, please license The Warriors out to a boutique label that will give us the theatrical cut.

Paramount is also reissuing several titles on BD-R (or MOD) as noted in the Paramount MOD thread so it appears they have a 3-tier release plan: The "essentials" they're handling themselves (Beverly Hills Cop, Fatal Attraction, etc.), the non-essentials are getting BD-Rs reportedly (Clueless, The Ring, Along Came A Spider) and the rest are being farmed out to boutiques. I don't have a problem with this strategy at all, as long as they don't primarily focus on re-releasing the same titles.

It would be amazing if they actually included the 2 hour Inside Story documentary.

Dissapointing that Shock decided to rerelease the old Transfer in Australia meaning that any new transfer has no chance of a local release. Am curious how much of an inprovement a remaster will be

This might be a 4K steelbook release just like Shutter Island and The Hunt for Red October.

If it's BD-R you can probably forget a 4K unless they license them out to somebody who does 4K or WB gets involved again.

There is no 4k release. And the pricing doesn't suggest that.
