Are we truly starting to see the resurgence of the illustrated movie poster? Alternative film art such as from Mondo or Bottleneck gallery has been a thing for awhile now and has grown in popularity. I'm wondering if that is leading studios to actually want to commission real art instead of something a few people cook up in Photoshop. The days of Drew Struzan and Roger Kastel where the poster told a story and sold you was great. I would love to see a return to form and get away from Photoshop posters 9 times out of 10. What are your thoughts?
