I was doubting how they can make Toni Servillo look even a bit like Berlusconi but that pic sure proved me wrong. Looking forward to this!

This movie seems like vapourware. It's been out for a long time in Italy and, like many of Sorrentino's other (very very good) movies, it's just not available... yet?

Has there been any release of the two part version? Even a streaming release.

I see the Bluray listed an Amazon's Italian site says 157 minutes. Scratching my head at that.

Supposedly there is a French FNAC Exclusive Blu-ray with both the international version and the two-part version:

Needless to say, it's not English-friendly.

It's possible that an Italian release would be, however, but I don't know if the Italian release is being blocked, or if the distributor is simply dragging their feet (all the Blu-rays currently listed on Amazon Italy are import editions from other countries).

I´ve ordered the FNAC Version from their online-shop, and, as to my knowledge, its the only version with both parts at this time. The french subs are forced, and since I do not speak italian, I watched the truncated international Version- and then flipped through the scenes on the french disc to see what I was missing.
It turns out, that the disjointed feeling the international version has, is completely gone, and especially in part one, the characters are fleshed out way more nicely, and the international cut breezes by with mostly the amazing montages intact- but missing the "meat" of the characters.
Too bad, no release with english subs has been announced.

BTW: If you are a Sorrentino Fan, you might want to check out the longer version of LA GRANDE BELEZZA that has been released in BluRay in Italy, Germany and some other countries. A lot longer- and the pacing flows even better.

Does anyone know what version is playing on Amazon Prime in the U.K? If it’s the truncated theatrical cut then I’ll pick up the Blu-Ray.

It is the international cut. In other words, the shortened version that is 151 minutes.

I found the German BD of this, but it doesn't have English subtitles. There's an Italian DVD with English subs, but I can't find the BD. Is it out of print, maybe?

There is no Italian Blu-ray release.

Rented it on iTunes - they have the international theatrical edition.

Almost wish I could watch the complete original Italian version!
