Is there a quality difference between the digital copy I get redeeming a blu-ray digital code in Movies Anywhere versus a DVD code redeemed in Movies Anywhere? For example, if I'm only interested in the digital copy, is there a reason to get Mary Poppins 50th Anniversary Edition on blu-ray versus DVD if all I care about is redeeming the Movies Anywhere digital copy?

I think it's changed to the point that most DVDs don't carry codes, and those that do (usually Fox and just select titles from other studios) tend to be HD. A friend did give me his unused ITunes portion of The Last Knight from a DVD, and it redeemed in 4K (due to free HD upgrade from ITunes). |
