Sorry, but I'm still a little confused despite the arrival of Movies Anywhere supposedly simplifying everything .
So I have a Movies Anywhere account like most individuals who have a digital library, but don't have an Apple 4K TV and I use primarily Vudu to watch my movies. 1) If I own blu-ray movies (not 4K) and am going to redeem the digital codes, should I just redeem them all through iTunes now so that I get the free 4K upgrade in case I later decide to buy an Apple 4k TV? Redeeming on MA or Vudu does not give you the free 4K upgrade through iTunes. The downside if you redeem it on iTunes is that it will not show up in your UV library. The MA supporters say UV will eventually die although I'm not sure how much truth is there in that. 2) Should I care that the digital copy will not be in UV and only in MA (as opposed to redeeming it in MA or Vudu and it will still be in both UV and MA libraries)? Thanks. |
