This is a known issue. I had to buy a Roku Ultra. But at least you get HDR along with it.

How are you Streaming to your Samsung, and you say 25Mbps is your Speed. If you are Streaming direct to your Smart Samsung Wireless that is most of the problem you should be Hard Wired. Also 25Mbps is minimum Bandwidth, you need at least 50+Mbps.

This is a Vudu on Samsung issue. Has nothing to do with internet or bandwith. Software, not hardware. I'm hard wired and have top of the line speeds and had to buy a roku because it's not being fixed by VUDU.

Hope you're right, but Streaming problems especially 4K have to do with Bandwidth or set up.

I had the issue even with a 1080 rental. There are numerous reports on the vudu forums as well as the AVS forums and Samsung forums of these issues.

Samsung blames Vudu, Vudu blames Samsung and nothing gets done forcing some of us to buy STB for streaming.

I have a GB connection (although I really only get about 350MB/s) and the Vudu test always shows that I have max speed and yet after watching for awhile, I always have issues with HDX (1080) starting to stutter and cache. I don't know whether this is a Vudu problem or an ISP problem, but it really pisses me off.

Read about bufferbloat, as it might be your issue. When using a very fast ISP, you are often dealing with how the router deals with buffering of inbound data rather than how the data is delivered.

I can't speak for him but for me it was 1000% a VUDU issue.

I could watch 13 hours of a UHD show on Netflix with no issues.

or 10 straight hours of a UHD show on Amazon.

But could not even last 60 seconds without tiling/pixelation on Vudu(on the native TV app) (whether 1080 or UHD)

No issues on the Roku ultra.
