Default RIP Cartoon Network

https://www.cbr.com/its-a-sad-day-fo...-network-fans/

According to THR, visitors to CartoonNetwork.com are now met with a popup encouraging them to subscribe to Max, Warner Bros. Discovery’s flagship streaming service. The message reads, “Looking for episodes of your favorite Cartoon Network shows? Check out what’s available to stream on Max (subscription required).” After dismissing the popup, users are redirected to the Cartoon Network page on Max, signaling a clear shift toward making the streamer the primary hub for Cartoon Network programming. The network, known for iconic shows like The Powerpuff Girls, Dexter’s Laboratory, Ed, Edd n Eddy, Adventure Time, Regular Show, and Teen Titans Go!, will remain a cornerstone of children’s programming despite the digital shift.

Appears to be the .com, not the channel itself. The article states:

“And of course, fans also can continue to tune in to the Cartoon Network channel to enjoy 11 hours of their favorite Cartoon Network series from 6 a.m.-5 p.m. daily.”

Shows are now being pulled from Max.

Teen Titans.
Teen Titans Go! (Seasons 1-7)
Ed, Edd n' Eddy.
The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy.
Green Lantern: The Animated Series.
The Looney Tunes Show.
Static Shock.

I guess these will end up on Tubi.

A. Expiring contracts
B. The streamer moving away from Kids & Family programming
C. It likely being more profitable to license these shows to other streamers and put them out on home video.
And the studio was merged into Warner Bros. Animation where only the brand name label is used

The funny part is you are redirected to MAX from Cartoonnetwork.com

They then started removing the shows.

Cartoon Network kind of died to me when they switched the logo and name to "CN," the original full name is just so nostalgic to me.
