I don't trust Geek Gab either, but that pic looks legit. The film was just released in 4K digitally from Lionsgate on July 6th, so this seems to be in line with SC's plans to do home video releases here too. I'm sure there will be regular editions too.

Yeah, the pic looks pretty legit. It's not formatted like the usual Geek gab mock ups, and kind of looks like a press picture. Either way, glad this is finally get an upgrade in the US.

Let's also hope Lionsgate announce 4K steelbook editions for Basic Instinct, and other 4K titles that companies released in the UK that Lionsgate still holds the US Blu-ray rights for.

The guy who runs it is an ass hat, but he does post credible information for the most part. He wouldn't post this if he didn't have a reliable source as it would hurt their credibility.

Weird that I've never seen this considering all its acclaim. This steelbook will probably look amazing in person tho.

You should watch it. One of my favorite movies ever and IMO the best latter-day Kurosawa.

I agree. I've been out of the steelbook game for years but this looks exceptionally good. I like Best Buy's clear slips, too. Here's hoping I can get a copy.

Yeah, this is one I'm going to make an active effort to get. The cover just resonates with the tone of the film.

I'm not sure that I'm 100% sold on the art but I'm thrilled this is getting a US release.
