I recently saw Sean Baker's Prince of Broadway for the first time. Interesting indy film about an immigrant working in the "Fashion district" in NYC, hawking for a store that sells illegal knock-off purses/shoes/etc. Soon after the film starts, he has a child dumped on him by a woman he had a brief affair with a year before. Solid film, with an [Show spoiler] Recommended to those who like indy films, and especially to fans of Baker's other films like Starlet & Tangerine. |
