I realize there are probably not a lot of movies that qualify, but titles of interest would have plots set within decade or so of the time they were filmed during this period.

Such as “Inferno” (1953), “Giant” (1954), “Bad Day at Black Rock” (1957), "Misfits" (1961), “Lonely Are the Brave” (1962), “Hud” (1963), “J.W. Coop” (1972), “Junior Bonner” (1972), “Westworld” (1973).
