Blu-ray Archduke

Today Bob Iger stated that certain films will be coming onto their streaming service (Captain Marvel, Avengers 4, Dumbo, etc)
The question I'm wondering about is do you think Disney might stop releasing blu-rays a few months after the films theater debut, or even stop releasing in the physical format period in order to gain more subscribers on their streaming service? This is my biggest worry, with Disney making the streaming push in 2019. They are going to want to get as many subscribers as possible, which makes me think they may stop with physical releases of new films? What does everyone think? |
