Default Google Play Sync Issue

I redeemed my first Google Play code yesterday and am running into an issue with it not syncing on Movies Anywhere. It's now been over 24 hours, the movie is definitely MA eligible, and other titles are still syncing to GP from MA. I've tried logging out, disconnecting, etc. to no avail. I contacted MA to let them know about the issue. They were very friendly and asked me to give it another day following a sync on their side. I'm confident they'll get me squared away, but wanted to give everyone a heads up I'm case they run into this issue.

Some of these issues are Movie specific so knowing your title may be helpful.

I have had no issue with google play purchases until yesterday. I purchased I Am Legend (alternate ending version). It is listed on google play store and movies anywhere as eligible, when I searched before purchase. it has yet to port over to movies anywhere or the other viewing providers.

I was one of the lucky few who have had no issues with movies anywhere prior to this point. so how long would I trpically wait to see if it resolves...or is it best to unlink and relink? thanks.

I have the same issue with I Am Legend: Alternate Ending. I'd prefer to not disconnect and reconnect MA from Google because I did that in the early days of MA and it totally broke Google Play for me with thousands of duplicate entries.

thanks for mentioning that. I have not unlinked any of my providers at any point. I have been using movies anywhere since it launched late night a few months ago. I will give it a couple of days and worst case contact movies anywhere support and ask.

I discovered that too and try to avoid unlinking/relinking Google Play - wish it worked like Vud where you only got new entries and not duplicates of everything there. This sounds like a bug to me that it does this. It corrupts your transaction history since everything gets a new date.

I just wanted to update on my original issue with I Am Legend: Alternate Ending.

I reached out to MA on Tuesday after the issue did not resolve itself. I did the live chat. The rep was very courteous and understood the issue. He instructed me to keep an eye out for an email. The email asked for a screenshot of the title showing in my Google library, also showing some other info. I decided to screenshot the email receipt from Google Play. It had the title name, date of purchase etc.

The next day I get a response that they have all the info needed and will pass it on to another team to correct. It may take up to 48 hrs. I got an email a couple of hours ago. The title was added to my MA acct. I checked and it ported to the other retailers.

This was my first MA problem. I know others have had many, and some have had bad experiences getting the issues resolved. I can only speak for myself, but it was painless and I appreciated the communication by them across each step of the process.
