Default Parental controls on Apple devices

I have a problem with my iTunes library and I can't figure out a good solution.

I have a few movies (and more I want to buy) where the artwork can be considered scary (like the Alien movies and Silence of the Lambs).

My younger kids don't use the AppleTV library on their own but the images can pop up when I'm scrolling for a movie.

Currently hide movies using the Mac or iPhone but it is very inconvenient to unhide/unhide each time.

What do you guys do in this situation?

It would be great if parental controls would automatically hide content of a certain age rating, but I don't know if such a thing is possible for Apple to do. I submitted as feedback a few months ago but unless there is a big demand it won't be considered and I could be the only one wanting it.

You could just select the child friendly category when they’re about rather than selecting ‘All Movies’

Yes, but sometimes a family film can be in the adventure or sci-fi genre - where Alien would be.

Or either myself or the Siri remote don't react fast enough when swiping - the very reason I hide the four Alien movies was that they were my most recent purchases for a few weeks so they'd always show up on the Home Screen or at the top of my purchase library. Then because I had hid them on iTunes on my Mac I actually forgot I had bought them.

It isn't a big deal and having AppleTV is like having DVDs or blu-rays - it the parents' job to put the scary box on a high self. It would just be convenient if there a "high shelf" on AppleTV.

Parental control blocking movies of a specified age rating would be nice or the ability to create playlist in the AppleTV movie library would be good - the latter not just hiding scary artwork but also for being able to organise movie franchises correctly like keeping Star Wars together rather in separate genres.
