In a pre-emptive deal, Neon has acquired rights to Osgood Perkins’ (Longlegs) next genre movie Keeper, which will star Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) and Rossif Sutherland (Possessor).

Neon will distribute in the U.S. and handle international sales rights to the film in Cannes, with Elevation Pictures set to distribute in Canada. Perkins directs from a screenplay written by Nick Lepard. Chris Ferguson and Jesse Savath of Oddfellows will produce.

Keeper follows a couple as they escape for a romantic anniversary weekend at a secluded cabin. When Malcolm (Sutherland) suddenly returns to the city, Liz (Maslany) finds herself isolated and in the presence of an unspeakable evil that unveils the cabin’s horrifying secrets. +

Including the teaser after the credits on "The Monkey" was a nice surprise. I've enjoyed Oz's films thus far so I'll definitely be checking this one out.

I stayed till the end credits of The Monkey by Oz Perkins based on the short story by King to see what the reveal was.

It shows different woman in different scenes, going on dates with the camera (we don't see who's behind it). For example, eating dinner, getting into the passenger side of a car, etc.
The music grows ominous, and by the end of the short teaser trailer, the women are screaming. There is blood splatter. Then the word "Keeper" appears by Oz Perkins. Soon, I think it also said.

Based on those images, it seems this person keeps the people who don't like them anymore, and stores them into a cellar. It could also mean Keep Her, or finder's keepers, loser's weepers. I guess we'll understand more on the 2nd trailer.

There's potential in Perkins with atmosphere and directing, but he needs to increase the tension for horror. His movies aren't scary IMO.

Have they shown the trailer online yet? It showed at the end of The Monkey. I waited to see it. It was interesting, and shows a first person camera of someone opening the car door for a woman, and then meeting other women from what I remember.

A creepy Keeper trailer. Okay, the girl got into the car herself. I just remember seeing the first person view and her entering the car in my memory from the Monkey end credits preview of Keeper. This looks like the end credits trailer though, thanks for posting it.
