Random Pauses on Blade Runner 2049 - Blu-ray Forum

I got Blade Runner 2049 through iTunes and downloaded it onto my iPhone X. When I watched the movie, it suddenly makes random pauses. First the picture will freeze with the audio still going, then that would freeze up after about 10 seconds.

Steps I've taken
- Re-downloading the film
- Turning off HDR
- Turning the iPhone X on and off.
- Quitting all applications
- Turning on Airplane Mode

Every step still leads to the random pausing. Suggestions?

Yeah, mine always pauses on the hologram girlfriend in the apartment in the rain.

I need to get that checked!

iOS got updated, but it didn't fix the issue.

Seriously, is this an issue across all iPhone X's? Anyone with an iPhone X who owns Blade Runner 2049 digitally, could you download the movie onto your phone and let it play? See if it pauses? This is driving me crazy and I've got a 300 mile trip ahead of me!
