Scent of a Woman Blu-ray

Scent of a Woman is a complete re-encode from the HD DVD. It takes up almost the whole BD-50.

REALLY upsetting that all the deleted scenes are not on the HD DVD or Blu-ray for SOL. Universal prepped an extended edition that only made it to VHS.

It's obviously to director approved, so it's a good thing we don't have to sit through another unwanted "extended" edition.

It's not bad at all. It's got all of the Lorraine Bracco scenes back in as well as others from the original trailer.

Would be nice if they, at the very least, included them in the deleted scenes section. Very very strange.

I wouldn't mind getting Scent of a Woman on Blu-ray. I remember the first time I ever saw it. It was way back on February 1st of 1994.

It was the very first movie that Starz showed.

I have to agree, the only one I'm looking at getting is Scent of a Woman. Pacino incredible... Sea of Love is almost embarassing at best.

I've never seen Sea of Love but I wished the two pack could have been Serpico or Dog Day Afternoon with Scent of a Woman instead.

However Sea of Love was a crucial hit for Pacino who was in a box office slump until this heated up his career again.

It is kind of crazy that Pacino only did one movie in between Scarface (1983) and Sea of Love (1989). I can't imagine that Sea will look that great in HD, since it's not a pretty movie to begin with (well, besides Ellen Barkin

). Still, I watched it recently, and it's fairly mediocre. The scenes between Pacino and Barkin are pretty good, but everything else...

oh I agree, not one of his 'best' films, but a decent gritty, dark cop thriller, more or less the Basic Instinct of it's day. Not to mention Sam Jackson in one of his early cameo's.

I quite enjoy Sea of Love and it is indeed Basic Instinct a few years before Basic Instinct.

I think revolution came out in-between scarface and sea of love, never seen revolution but heard it wasn't that good

Yes, I always liked that gritty, darker feel of Sea of Love. I'll definitely pick it and probably Scent of A Woman.
