Default In your collection, what is your dryest year?

Out of a total of just over 1,200 Blurays and DVDs ranging from 1916-2017 I surprising only have 1 film made 1970

I don't have any BD titles older than the two produced in the 1940's (Fantasia and the Superman cartoons included in the Superman Motion Picture Anthology)

As one might imagine with a collection whose pie chart is tilted a bit towards the current millennium, the 1970s and prior are pretty barren. That said, the three most recent years of which I don't have any movies at all are 1978, 1969, and 1960.

It’s technically the 20’s but that’s sort of unfair because there aren’t that many transfers in that age and they are a bit of a novelty. So out of the other years the 70’s are the leanest. And interestingly even though I’m 33 the majority of my films are from the 40’s.

plenty of years that i have none. nothing prior to 1930 and only 5 titles from the 30s. of course i don't have 1000+ titles so no surprise that there are years with no titles. i pretty much only collect horror titles from the 30s and 40s so years that really didn't have many or any titles will likely remain empty.

I don't have any movies before 1920.
Oldest movies I have are 1920 and 1927.

Well I'm not really a fan of pre-70s movies, but from 70 onwards the driest year has got to be... 2009. I can't even think of anything besides Harry Potter 6 from that year, and that's my least favourite of that series!

I did 50s-00s because I feel I don't have enough for the 20s, 30s 40s and 10s to have a "dry" year (the 10s aren't even finished yet and I have only one film from 1929). I also did my most represented year as well; some of them surprised me.
50s:
Most: 1955 (6)
Least: 1950 and 1951 (0)

60s:
Most: 1968 (10)
Least: 1967 (2)

70s:
Most: 1971 (11)
Least: 1972 (2)

80s:
Most: 1984 (9)
Least: 1983 (1)

90s:
Most: 1993, 1994, 1995 (10)
Least: 1991 (4)

00s:
Most: 2001 (13)
Least: 2000 and 2008 (4)

I only have two blu-rays from the 1920's so that would be my dryest decade.

Same here. The Ten Commandments and Wings. Metropolis is still on my wish list.

I only have Snow White representing the 1930s on blu, so we'll go with that. I do own Wizard of Oz, but it's a DVD.

The 40s does much better, with Pinocchio, Dumbo, Bambi, Saludos Amigos/Three Caballeros double pack, and the Ichabod/Fun and Fancy Free/Reluctant Dragon three pack.
