Ice Cold in Alex

I just saw Ice Cold in Alex is up for pre-order on the Irish and UK iTunes, but I'm certain the film was already available in the Irish Store - I considered buying it just a couple of weeks ago.

Was it removed recently and is being relisted (a new owner perhaps?) or am I mistaken and probably spotted on the US Store?

Just curious.

That is something I hadn't considered and you are correct - a quick search reveals there is 60th Anniversary restoration coming on blu-ray with a few new interviews in the extras. I should have thought to google it before posting.

Also it doesn't exist on the US Store at all so it was pulled very recently.

I haven't seen the movie in a long time so looking forward to this.

Yeah, new 4K restoration apparently. Would those who already had the previous version of the film be upgraded to the new transfer?

BTW this is currently on Film4 right now haha

The blu-ray is a 4K restoration but the release on iTunes is just labelled HD - at least it was on Monday morning anyway.

This was my first iTunes pre-order.
