Hi all. For those who were unaware, if you own Problem Child in Vudu in HDX, it only ports to iTunes as SD when connecting your accounts to MA. iTunes had removed their SD only transfer for a while, and replaced it with a new HD transfer, but MA still linked to the SD only transfer. I see iTunes has re-added the SD only, so now they have two. I've been on MA to correct the iTunes ID they have it listed as, in order for our HD purchases from Vudu to port to iTunes correctly. I've sent another email today.
If you own this in Vudu, please email MA about correcting the ID link. I'm sure if they get enough they will fix it. Here is what I sent. Feel free to copy/paste it, or write your own. Be sure to open the links in your browser to copy/paste the full link. Email: help@moviesanywhere.com Subject: Issue with Problem Child - Movies Anywhere I own Problem Child in HDX on Vudu. When I connected all of my accounts to Movies Anywhere, the title ported to iTunes as SD quality. This is because Movies Anywhere links the title to an outdated iTunes ID, instead of their new HD transfer. What Movies Anywhere has Problem Child linked to - https://itunes.apple.com/us/movie/pr...ld/id290891489 The correct HD transfer Movies Anywhere SHOULD be linked to is - https://itunes.apple.com/us/movie/pr...ld/id937973426 Please correct this as soon as possible, so mine, and everyone else's purchase will port to iTunes correctly. |

I opened a ticket with MA for this very issue. They need to resolve this.
There is also an issue with Above the Rim where iTunes doesn't acknowledge you own it. I assume it's similar in that the one ported to MA doesn't match the id iTunes has for it. |

I have this issue also with Problem Child porting as SD in my iTunes account from Movies Anywhere even though I own it in HDX in Vudu. I contacted Movies Anywhere a few days ago and they told be to unlink and relink my iTunes account from Movies Anywhere and if that does not solve the issue, then to contact iTunes since that's the retailer that it ported to as SD and it's in HD in MA's end. It's also ported as HD in my Amazon video library. I contacted iTunes yesterday and they replied back to me today telling me to contact Movies Anywhere about the issue but I already did that.

I just unlinked and relinked Itunes and the HD version of Problem Child is now appearing in my Itunes account. So looks like this is fixed.

I didn't even need to relink. I just checked and both versions are there now.
