The Lion King (Walt Disney Signature Collection) porting over

Has anyone noticed that the Lion King -walt disney signature collection automatically ported over the past 24 hrs in their vudu/movies anywhere acct if you previously owned the digital copy of the lion king 3d blu ray?

i have the old release of the lion king 3d which had a digital copy, but i now have a 2nd lion king copy and it looks like it has the extras from the walt disney collection.

wish they would do this to a few other movies that have had multiple releases.

Not for me. MA and Vudu still want me to buy that version.

Not me. It's still Diamond Edition in Vudu (where I initially redeemed my code (from the 3D version) in 2011). After linking to DMA in 2014, it also appeared in DMA/iTunes/Amazon/GooglePlay. Unfortunately, when DMA evolved into MA, the movie never showed up there (and subsequently disappeared from GooglePlay). Yet, in iTunes and Amazon, it converted to the Signature Edition. Not sure why they converted and Vudu didn't. Or the fact that neither the Diamond Edition not the Signature Edition are in MA for me.

I just redeemed an XML for Lion King. It appears to have all the extras, including "Signature Bonus" of Visualizing a Villain, The Recording Sessions and Nathan & Matthew. <- Are these the Signature Edition bonus exclusives? VUDU port from iTunes just seems like the bare movie.

Also the version I have in iTunes seems to be sourced from the 2011 transfer, as it is missing the "smoke" at 1:07:25 as described here: http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/4923...signature.html

Sorry I can't answer your question as I do not have the 2017 version.

Mine still hasn’t ported over to movies anywhere m.
It still shows up in vudu.
But I am afraid when Disney MA goes away so will my digital copy of Lion King

sorry. let me clarify. the walt disney collection with the extras automatically ported over to my vudu and itunes acct. it is not in my MA acct like everyone else. i have not linked google play or amazon to my MA acct yet so cannot say if it is available on those sites yet.

No, it has not shown up in MA, and I’m thinking it won’t I even tried disconnecting iTunes from MA. It is in VUDU, however. And VUDU shows HDX.

The Itunes should have copies of both transfers though the newer version is partially hidden in Itunes.

Check the Extras/Movie Selection and the newer version should be pulled up with the 1.5 seconds of background clouds returned or at least that's how mine appears now. I have redeemed both the old 3D and newer Signature release, but I'm pretty sure the transfer updated prior to add the Signature Release

I redeemed it via Disney movie rewards(back the. It would redeem the movie and the digital copy at the same time, so I am guessing when disney movies anywhere goes away it will disapere from vudu, since it will no longer be linked.
And since you can’t even buy that version on vudu and iTunes anymore.

My copy of Lion King originally obtained from XML still has not ported either.

In addition Mickey's Christmas Carol and Tory Story of Terror do not appear to have ported from DMA to MA for me.

I contacted MA support via email...will see what happens.

So, it finally showed up in Vudu the other day (now I have two versions of the movie in Vudu), but still not Movies Anywhere or Google Play (where it seems the Diamond Edition straight up disappeared). It had previously been upgraded in both iTunes and Amazon.

Just also saw Toy Story of a Terror never ported to MA. But it did port to Vudu. There about three movies in Amazon that never ported over but basically, as everything else was on or is now in Vudu that's my go to app. Plus I have movies in Vudu that never ported to MA so might as well keep using Vudu mainly. MA just exists to me to be the link between everything. It is odd that TSOT ported through to Vudu but not MA!

If you previously had disney movies anywhere it ported over to vudu and iTunes from there.

After numerous e-mails to DMA and MA plus one (unproductive) phone call, The Lion King has finally been added to my MA account. It was manually added by the Tier 2 support team. Good luck to everyone else still missing this movie!

"Thank you so much for your patience. The team has made improvements and we are happy to let you know that if you previously owned any of the following titles in your Disney Movies Anywhere account and were missing them after migrating your DMA account, these titles should now appear in your Movies Anywhere library.

- Bambi
- Bambi II
- Fantasia
- The Lion King
- Mickey’s Christmas Carol
- Toy Story of Terror

If any of these previously owned titles are still missing in your library, please respond to this ticket and we will continue to investigate."

Toy Story Of Terror is now showing in MA.

My Lion King has finally ported to MA also. It took almost three weeks for them to fix the issue from when I first called customer support.

Both Bambi and Lion King (signature Edition) are in MA but the Diamond Editions of Both (with the different Bonus/Extras material) are not in MA. Does Anyone who owns both editions in DMA also have both version in MA?
