Any 7.1 titles?

Before you flame me for not using the search function, the board will NOT let me search on "7.1" because it is too freakin' short!

That said, are there any 7.1 titles out there yet? I am hooking up the 705 tomorrow, and would REALLY like to try it with a 7.1 uncompressed source.

War, Shoot em' up, and I think The Condemend. I know at least the first two are.

New Line titles are in 7.1, like Pan's Labyrinth and Hairspray, but it is of course DTSHD-MA. Also, Oldboy is DTSHD-MA 7.1.

Newer Lionsgate titles and New Line titles if your player can decode or bitstream DTS-HD MA.

War, 3:10 to yuma, the Condemned, Mr. Woodcock, Shoot 'em up, Pans Labyrinth, Rush Hour 3, Hairspray. Saw IV. Basically anything from New line and a lot of the ones coming from Lionsgate will have 7.1

The first Disney 7.1 title will be Sleepless Beauty (new Soundtrack mixed in 7.1).. that was they said at CES

Most Chinese Movies are 7.1 too either in PCM or DTS HD MA or Both

There have been 7.1 titles for some time

Check some of your LG titles (if you have any) they used 7.1 for some time now and on several titles for instance Ultimate Avengers that came out early in 2007 has 7.1

Good Luck Chuck is actually 7.1 PCM movie. OK movie if you can get pass Dane Cook's acting. I admit I own it (pure blind-buy). Rent it, perhaps?

Saw IV is, on the other hand, 7.1 DTS-HD MA. Only good if you're a hardcore Saw fan. PQ/SQ is great, though!

Finding Nemo is supposed to have 7.1 also and isn't it supposed to be released late Spring - early Summer? Several months before Sleeping Beauty.

Sure you can search for 7.1. I do it all the time to see what has been added. Just use the search movies tab on the left and put 7.1 in the audio block and leave everything else blank. I also search "true" for trueHD.

Weeds: Season Two (2006) is also 7.1

Probably not the best title to test your system with...

There isn't many 7.1 titles out but there are some great sounding 6.1 movies like Crank and The Descent

By the way, congrats for your new receiver

You're lucky, I can't wait to go through my blu-ray library once I get an HDMI receiver like yours! But then again I'll buy a new display this fall so it will probably be another year before upgrading my Yamaha (or perhaps there will be a cheaper player with 7.1 analog out by then, but I am not sure it's the best way to experience lossless).

get The Descent....its 6.1, but, the matrix is absolutely stunning...great fill in the 2 back channels...
