Anyone know of a website and/or app that can organize movies into a tidy list? MA isn't available in Canada but it works with Google accounts here so I have shared my library with some friends via Google Family. I'd like to have an easy way for them (and me) to browse through my titles. The interface for YouTube purchases is quite bad and no one else has a US iTunes account I could do family share with. I currently have one in https://www.themoviedb.org/ and it can suffice if needed, but I'd like something that can be sorted by genre or year and just have more options in general. It looks like https://www.collectorz.com/ has a really good one, but I don't want to pay $3.50/mo for it. Any thoughts?

I use DVD Profiler (http://www.invelos.com/). Since I've had the desktop program (Windows only) and sync to it I can't comment on trying to use the app stand-alone (which definitely can be done). IOS and Android app are each $2.99 one-time charge.

I'm actually quite pleased with the Blu-ray.com app on Android, which of course syncs to your account here anytime you change something. It's free and easy to use. You can share your library with others so they can browse your titles. And many users don't know but you can enter all your iTunes, UV, AIV, or other digital copies in it too, as well as scan in your physical media from DVD, Blu-ray, and I've even had luck with my DVD-A and Blu-ray-Audio discs too. (Primarily Steven Wilson solo projects, Porcupine Tree, and hi-res remixes of classic King Crimson, Jethro Tull, Yes, and Gentle Giant albums).
It's a bit clunky in appearance but its versatility and tweakable options can't be beat. |

I had been using DVD Profiler for many many years. Hope this is a temporary glitch. |

Given that Invelos seems to have been designed primarily for retail use, and we know the state of home video rentals and sales, I'd say the prognosis isn't great.
I've started recataloguing my blu-rays with the Blu-Ray.com app, and so far so good. |

I use the app My Movies Pro on Android, its not free but there is a limited free version available that you can use to test it out. They have options for digital copies as well and cool bonus stuff like choosing your own poster or uploading your own if you wish and trailers from YouTube link. Adding to their database is easy as well if you want to fill in some missing information.
But my favourite feature about the app is ability to view the back of a DVD/Blu-ray cover. I find it hilarious that on sites like Amazon the secondary image is of the spine, like who cares about that, show me the back so I can see the specs. With My Movies Pro I always use it to look at the back cover for any titles I'm thinking of buying |

I was a long time supporter of the DVD Profiler, having bought a license during DVD days, long before Blu-ray was available.
They had an iPhone app, but it took them a long time to get their Android app online. I bought their Android app soon after I realized they had released it, and it was a complete waste of $5. While I love their desktop app, but the Android app is useless. I have been trying on and off for years to sync my collection to my phone without success. Since I really needed something with a barcode scanner to keep up with my collection, I had to move to a better Android app. I went back and forth between Collectorz app and the My Movies Pro app. I really wanted something that would easily sort and filter based on input criteria. While both were good, the cheaper price for My Movies Pro finally convinced me. Shortly afterwards, I wanted a similar app for my gaming collection ... and so far, Collectorz is the better of the bunch, which almost makes me wish I had gone with Collectorz for movies to have a common interface for all my stuff. |

Yup, I see it's back up. But my Android phone still won't sync the movies I've catalogued on it with my PC, which is still stuck with a database from five years ago. Cataloguing with the Blu-Ray.com app seems to be going well, I like that fact that if I've skipped a title, I can easily go back and pop it into its rightful place in the collection by giving it the appropriate time-stamp, which I don't think I could easily do with DVD Profiler (which sorted according to a number assigned to each title as it was entered).

Yep, this site will work with DVD Profiler. But... I have been playing with the DVDP export (to this site) the last few days - the site import limits the size to a very small number of records, with inexplicable misses of a title here or there that is actually in the xml. Unfortunately, little time as of late to deal with/audit the results, and not seeing a benefit (yet) to having my not-tiny collection online here so probably wont use it for now.
