i thought i read somewhere on this forum they had a blu commercial during a game the other day, i never watch tv so i have never seen one but i just saw a toshiba commercial and was curious if we got tv spots. all the blu ads ive seen have been before movies on my rentals.

YES! we have them basically anytime their is a new movie comming to DVD now. It will say something like "available on DVD and Hi def blu ray." Its sweet!

I was watching tv with my dad yetsterday. I started to hear the ps3 commercial with the bad@$$ music. So I immediately stop what I'm doing, turn around and to my amazement saw movie previews being played. It was a ps3 blu-ray commercial. No games. A blu-ray movie commercial selling the ps3 as a 399 dollar blu-ray player. It made me so warm and fuzzy.

Also opened up the best buy magazine my fam got over the weekend. Front page was a blu-ray player and movie add (3:10 to Yuma i think). Inside say many blu-ray players/ 1 HD DVD. The advertisement seemed to be leaning way toward blu

There are a lot of blu-ray ads on tv for playstation and movies that have been on for a while now.

This is the one I spoke about as well. This was on the Chargers playoff game at least 3 times yesterday.

It is just a feature of WB, Sony, Fox, and Disney discs. Basically it's a 30 second infomercial that PS3 DOES play Blu-Ray's and it's price. I've seen it play a few times during the Football Games and College Bowl Games.

I think the BDA is trying to awaken the beast that is the PS3 owners.
